Question by Geoff: How can I backup data in windows xp to be used for new vista machine?
Want to copy files from my old windows xp machine to my new vista machine. What’s the best way to back files to a new PC with Vista?

I just put what I wanted to keep onto CD R and a 1 gig flash pen.

Then transferred my pictures, documents, music, video and other files into my Vista machine from that portable memory
