This unit is as good as it gets. However, no switching discs and taking her home, etc. Works great and easy to configure.Rating: 5 / 5

I was looking for an external hard drive, but a friend told me about the ioSafe. It is a fireproof / waterproof external hard drive! I've been waiting for something like this for a long tiempo.Es as large as the two slice toaster and is deceptively heavy. After doing more research, I found an online video on the subject in the newspaper Wall Street Journal: http://blogs. WSJ. com/digits/2009/01/09/ces-drowning-and-broiling-your-hard-drive / isolation appears to be doing is heavy (about 15 pounds). Sentido.Al You obviously have found a way to add ventilation, insulation and fireproof waterproof protection for regular hard drives. Very inteligente.El ioSafe also comes with what they call a disaster recovery service. Obviously it is a non-political questions (I'm sure I should ask some questions though). If I have a fire, flood, hard drive failure, whatever - to help me my data on spending up to $ 1000 of your money! This is one of those things I wish I had thought. IoSafe my love and put all my photos and fiscal data to it. It will only connect the USB connection on my laptop and drag and drop data as a copy of SyncToy seguridad.Yo use of Microsoft (freeware) to synchronize my lap-top to ioSafe me every time my computer is idle . Impresionante.Yo is also controlled by the Western Digital My Book Essential Edition 500 GB USB 2. 0 External Hard Drive WDH1U5000N and Iomega Prestige 500 GB USB 2. 0 External Desktop Hard Drive 34270, but the two are just regular hard drives. It is much cheaper, even if no additional protection for your data, you can save about $ 50. For me, with my luck and my tendency to bow to Murphy's Law in all cases, keep my ioSafe.Calificación: 5 / 5

I bought this useless piece of metal in December 2009. This worked fine for 2 days, a period during which carefully climbed the first part of my CD collection (I was in "B" s, thank God I had not yet) when my PC failed to recognize the drive. I connected with every other computer in my house and got the same result. Nothing. It is rubbish. NEVER buy one of them. Now we have to deal with the service of "customer" and, frankly, would prefer to return to another outlet.Rating: 1 / 5
