I’m using EASEUS data recovery wizard to try to recover my files on an external hard drive me. It seemed that he was working for awhile, but now it is stuck at one point and the line does not move forward. We must commit to the timer continues to grow. We should wait and see what happens and start again?

Stop EASEUS and run chkdsk /f on the problem drive. Then try EASEUS again.
You can also try to recover your data with Easy Drive Data Recovery software:

It uses unique modern algorithms to recover files that other software either recovers incorrectly or is unable to detect.
