do not defrag your drive until you try recovering the files, the longer you leave it the more chance your system will overwrite the empty space

I would recommend asoftech photo recovery which helped me many times. it’s pro version enables recovering not only photos, but also videos, musics, documents, etc. it costs 30 bucks (40 bucks for pro version) and I can use it forever.
