Question by Vicki R: Backup data?
I need a program to backup my data.I would like to have a simple one if possible.Does anyone know of a good backup program? Thanks.

Answer by Linux OS
“tar” is a great backup utility, and comes built-in on all Mac OS X and Linux operating systems.
If you’re just backing up data, then you can also simply burn the data to DVD, or copy it to an external drive.
You only really need a program if you’re doing regular (such as nightly) backups.
If you know better; you can leave your own answer in the comments!
