Sign in now to receive a download prompt or if you were already on Live, expect to get kicked off and then prompted. If you’re not a fan of partitioning, Microsoft has pre-configured Xbox 360 8GB USB SanDisk flash drives for sale in May.

Rumor: Xbox 360 update adds USB storage support
Joystiq reports it has a document confirming an Xbox 360 update that will allow the device to use USB storage units. There is a 16GB cap on the USB mass storage, but you could conceivable copy an entire disc-based game onto it.
