COPY AND PLAY RIPPED DVDS ON PS3 FROM USB STORAGE DEVICES

OFF TOPIC USB ISO LOADER FOR PS2 GAMES ON YOUR PS3… www.tehskeen.com Ifcaro has released his latest build of USB Loader v0.3 RC1 for the Sony Playstation 3. Using this Loader along with a particular version of the Swap Magic disk for the PS2 you can load your legal PS2 backup collection using a USB Mass Storage device. Note that this doesn’t work on newer PS3 models and is limited to those that were initially sold at launch. More detailed information can be found here. This new version is said to fix some issues with problem games and comes with two elf’s (PS2 executables) one of which is an experimental version of the loader. How i did this: First of all you need to source 2 applications…A app to decrypt dvds and a app to back them up ( I use 1click dvd and Anydvd decrypter) so you can backup the dvd to your PC…After you have your dvd backup in a folder on the pc…you then transfer the folder to any portable storage device with 5 gigs or more…(I use a western digital USB hard drive 320 gigs 70$ at walmart) At this point i will be assuming you have dragged and dropped the folder containing the dvd backup onto the storage device…Next plug in the device to your ps3 USB port on the front…it should show up SO LONG AS THE DEVICE IS IN FAT OR FAT32 if it does not show up you will HAVE TO FORMAT IT IN FAT that said just follow my lead in this video from this point and you will get the picture….hope this was helpful

yes any MY BOOK series by wd comes in fat32 PLUS wd makes a format tool FOR EXTERNAL STORAGE DEVICES MADE BY THEM like the wd book series its available on the official western digital website WD fat32 formatter

so when u went to walmart and got your hdd was it already formatted in fat32 or did u reformat it, because i have returned 2 seagate hdd because i did not know i had to re for mat it, but does the western digital work already formatted out the box???

fuck no you cant…you have to use something like SLYSOFTS TOOLS to make a VIDEO_TS FOLDER PLACE THAT ON A HDD (external hdd in fat format more specifically) then you can copy that AS I DO IN THIS VIDEO FROM OBVIOUSLY NOT A CD BUT A HARD DRIVE wathc the vid ill block morons in a heartbeat

try to save the page as… with fire fox then look through the folder for the flash video or whatever vid formats and maybe you could get it that way or see if you can find a tool like youtube grabber for those sites? short of that im not sure bud

SEAGATES and MAXTORS are shitty and cheap usb drives and will ALWAYS have compatibility issues untill they work like a WESTERN DIGITAL WITH ITS OWN POWER SUPPLY THAT ACTUALLY WORKS lol…I owned all 3 and stand by WD book series as the BEST for this type of shit

Hey. I watched another video where it says that the USB drive has to be formatted as PHAT-32 (or some shit) so that the PS3 can recognize it. I have a Seagate 250 USB drive, for some reason I can’t use it! How do I do it?

while you can DOWNLOAD TORRENTS INTO LINUX on the ps3 downloading a PS3 game would be POINTLESS being it cannot be emulated or mounted and played yet…ALTHOUGH THE 360 has been HOMEBREWED FINALLY! full softmod will be up VERY VERY SOON
But linux is limited on the ps3 because the hyper visor is limited in the alternitive OS installs SONY ALLOWS US TO RUN A PARTITION OF LINUX ON A PS3 ITS MADE TO DO IT OUT THE BOX

the same way i do in the vid pause it for each step bro its the same shit just be sure its in fat32 im not certain if other formats work for it not tested them
