When I try a backup only allows me to do it on a disk. I put a USB card or anything else called it.

copy them from where ever you have it set to save the music too. Do it through explorer (my computer, etc) not itunes
Put the USB card on your PC
Your PC should recognize it as a storage device
using windows file explorer, then drag and drop music files from your iTunes directory to your USB. Itunes are nothing more than files.
They are usually located in My Computer -> My Music -> ITunes
as TVguy mentioned, it is important the file actually comes from the iTunes directory and not directly from the iTunes window.
