    I have an xbox 360 arcade that i recently bought, it has this ability to use a memory storage device, when i connect my xbox to the interenet and live it asks to update, Can i save the update on the usb? If so, then can i play on xbox live gold if i buy it?

    i transfered my licences to my mates console to give him resurgence but im now getting the new xbox. can i still transfer my dlc to my new console with a usb? or do i need a transfer cable? or can i not transfer at all? bcoz i dont want to lose any of my dlc :S

    @Drumaniac03 I have the same problem but I found out that they some flash drives dont work because they dont meet some requirments.

    you said this was a sandisk cruzer flash drive? i’ve tried two different flash drives i already have and neither of them work for my xbox so i’m looking for something that will work for sure

    @electromagnetshit You can either go into the same menu options when you create the drive or you can just format on your PC and it will change back. You can also choose to only user a certain percentage of it for your Xbox and the rest for storage.

    i did it with a usb hdd, which it said didnt meet performance standards, and it let me do it anyway :)

    worked perfectly…….
    for a while, but thats an unrelated hdd case failure.
